At Klorie, we’re building a future-proof payment platform for European businesses. We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer who’s equally skilled in building web and mobile interfaces — someone who delivers polished user experiences across platforms.

You’ll lead the development of both our **web application** (React/Next.js) and mobile app (React Native with Expo). From dashboards to onboarding flows, you’ll be responsible for building interfaces that are fast, intuitive, secure, and pixel-perfect.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the web app using ReactNext.js, and TypeScript.
  • Build and maintain the mobile app using React Native with the Expo framework.
  • Translate Figma designs into responsive, accessible, and performant UIs.
  • Collaborate with design and product to refine UX flows across devices.
  • Ensure mobile and web apps are consistent, secure, and production-ready.
  • Create and maintain shared UI components and design systems.
  • Handle app deployment via Expo, including OTA updates, testing, and platform-specific concerns.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of front-end experience with a strong focus on React and React Native.
  • Proficiency with Next.js and modern TypeScript tooling.
  • Experience building Expo-based apps for iOS and Android, with a solid grasp of mobile UX/UI.
  • Strong skills in responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with state management (e.g., Zustand, React Query, Redux).
  • Experience working with REST/GraphQL APIs.
  • Comfortable shipping and debugging apps across web and mobile platforms.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a hybrid work environment.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Fintech or SaaS dashboard experience.
  • Familiarity with Storybook, design tokens, and scalable component systems.
  • Performance auditing experience (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, etc.).
  • Familiarity with App Store and Play Store processes.
  • Experience with mobile-native features via Expo SDK (Push Notifications, SecureStore, etc.).
  • Understanding of authentication flows, token storage, and secure UX on mobile.

Why Join Klorie?

  • Impact: You’ll own key user interfaces across both web and mobile.
  • Autonomy: High trust, high ownership role in a growing product team.
  • Flexibility: Hybrid work model (1–2 days/week on-site in Belgium).
  • Purpose: Help shape a modern, ethical payment platform for Europe.
