Klorie is building a reliable, transparent, and scalable payment infrastructure for European businesses. We’re looking for a Product Manager who understands the complexities of online payments — from how money moves behind the scenes to what drives conversion and compliance up front.
You’ll own and drive initiatives across our payment stack, including merchant onboarding, payment flows, KYC/KYB, checkout UX, and more. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, compliance, and business stakeholders to ship features that are stable, scalable, and conversion-optimized.
Core Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for critical payment features — from discovery to launch.
- Define product strategy and priorities across merchant acquisition, onboarding, and transaction flows.
- Work with engineering to design performant, fault-tolerant payment systems.
- Collaborate with design and compliance to craft smooth, secure KYC/KYB flows.
- Analyze user behavior and funnel metrics to identify friction points and opportunities.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking across payment platforms (e.g. Stripe, Adyen, Checkout.com).
- Translate regulatory and risk requirements into product solutions.
- Define KPIs, write specs, manage backlogs, and drive execution with clarity.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally in fintech, payments, or SaaS.
- Strong understanding of how online payments work (card acquiring, payment gateways, fraud/risk, etc.).
- Experience with merchant onboarding, checkout UX, or KYC/KYB processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management across tech, compliance, design, and sales.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide product decisions.
- Comfortable in agile environments, working iteratively with tight feedback loops.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Notion, Figma, Amplitude, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working with or at companies like Stripe, Adyen, Checkout.com, or Mollie.
- Knowledge of EU/BE payments regulation (PSD2, AML, SCA, etc.).
- Background in user acquisition, pricing models, or conversion funnel optimization.
- Technical background or experience working closely with developers on APIs and SDKs.
- Fluency in Dutch or French.
Why join Klorie?

- Collaboration: Tight-knit team with high trust and low bureaucracy.
- Flexibility: Hybrid model (1–2 days/week on-site in Belgium).
- Mission: Build ethical, transparent payment services for modern businesses.
